Moong Ke Ladoo

Healthy and Delicious Moong ke Ladoo Recipe

 
Healthy laddoo

Ingredients:

  1. Boiled rice 1/4 kg
  2. Moong 1/4 kg
  3. Jaggery 1/2 kg
  4. Coconut 1 and 1/2
  5. Cardamom powder + fennel seeds powder 1 teaspoon
  6. Salt pinch
  7. Ghee 2 tablespoon
  8. Almonds chopped 50 gm

Method :

  • Rub boiled rice with a cloth to remove dust if any
  • Roast boiled rice initial 2 min on full flame
  • On medium flame stir roast for another 5 min until the rice opens
  • Keep the rice aside
  • Rub the moong with a cloth to remove dust (as both cannot be washed as it needs to be roasted)
  • Roast for 1 min on full flame
  • On medium flame, roast it until its colour changes
  • Mix both the roasted rice and moong in one bowl
  • Grind it to a very thin powder in a mill
  • After it is grinded the powder is strained using a strainer
  • Jaggery is cut into pieces
  • All the ingredients are ready
  • Take a pan on stove
  • Add ghee
  • Add chopped almonds
  • Stir roast for 1 min
  • Keep it aside
  • Take the pan on stove
  • Add 1 cup or 2 cup
  • Add jaggery to dissolve it
  • Take a vessel on stove on full flame
  • Add grated coconut
  • Add fennel and cardamom powder
  • Add a pinch salt
  • Add dissolved Jaggery
  • Mix it well
  • Cook it for 2 min until it boils
  • Check the density of the cooked mixture
  • Add remaining ghee
  • Take it off stove after it is done
  • Add the grinded flour in the vessel
  • Mix it fast when it is hot
  • Crush the mixture as shown to mix everything
  • Mixture is ready to make laddoo.
  • Make laddoos of the mixture.
  • Use chopped almonds as shown.
  • Stays good for 15 days. (If less water is used , it stays good for a month or two) 
  • Healthy and Tasty Sattu Ladoo is Ready.
